Join the celebrations of Europe Day 2024 and 20. follow the anniversary of the biggest expansion of the European Union and live the Gala Concert at Susan Sontag square. At the Gala concert, Beethoven’s 9th symphony is performed by Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, the choir of the Opera National Theater, Rocio Faus (soprano from Spain), Magdalena Pluta (mezzo-soprano in Poland), Amir Saračević (tenor from Bosnia and Herzegovina), Daniel Čapkovič (baritone from Slovakia) and the mixed choir of Camerata Slovenica from Slovenia. Concert conductor Jan Caeyers, Belgian musicologist and conductor, is one of Europe’s most prominent Beethoven experts. The events are organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium, as part of the Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union, and the embassies of the Czech Republic, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Slovakia.

Ones again the popular symphonic fairy tale Peter and the Wolf for you! We are telling you an interesting and humorous story about a brave boy Peter who, with the help of animals and hunters, will try to catch a bad wolf. Mario Drmać leads us through the wonderful world of music and orchestra under the baton of Samra Gulamović. The concert is intended for children of preschool and school age.
